Bookings are only confirmed when a deposit of 30% of the total cost is received
We appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can occur therefore when a cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date a full refund of all payments will be made.
If a cancellation is made within 7 days until arrival date the deposit will not be repaid however any further payments will be returned and the opportunity to re-arrange your stay to an available alternative date will be offered.
Cancellation by us
Should it become necessary for us to cancel your booking we will contact you immediately. Any payments will be fully refunded. Should you wish we can attempt to book you into an alternative local bed and breakfast to an equivalent value.
Damages & breakages
We are aware that accidents happen therefore we would ask that any breakages or damages are reported to us asap to enable us to rectify prior to new guests arriving. We don’t normally charge for breakages but we do reserve the right to charge for repair or making good if the damage is significant.
If we encounter unacceptable behaviour or actions that could endanger or offend other people / animals or our surroundings we will terminate your stay. No notice is required and no refund of payment will be given.
Paying for your stay
We use Stripe to process your credit or debit card payment. Stripe is a global card processing company. Please read on for details of how we keep your card safe on our website and how your card data is processed by Stripe.
Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, we use the best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe..
HTTPS and HSTS for secure connections
Stripe forces HTTPS for all services using TLS (SSL), including our public website and the Dashboard.

Stripe’s official libraries connect to Stripe’s servers over TLS and verify TLS certificates on each connection
We regularly audit the details of our implementation, including the certificates we serve, the certificate authorities we use, and the ciphers we support. We use HSTS to ensure that browsers interact with Stripe only over HTTPS. Stripe is also on the HSTS preloaded lists for both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
Encryption of sensitive data and communication
All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons can obtain plaintext card numbers but can request that cards are sent to a service provider on a static whitelist. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in a separate hosting environment, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services (API, website, etc.).
Terms of Booking & Payment
By placing a booking with us, you and your party agree to the following terms and conditions as set-out. During your stay you agree to abide by the subsequent conditions as set-out. If you have any questions about booking with us, please contact us before making a booking.
To place a booking with us the lead guest must be at least 16 years of age. The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on the website. Where the person making the booking is different to the lead guest taking up the occupation, the person making the booking may be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages as set-out within. Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities, any third party visitors are only allowed access at our express permission.
To secure any booking we require a deposit to be paid in advance, this deposit amount is 30% of the cost of your total stay.
Deposit payments must be ‘cleared funds’ before a booking can be confirmed. Deposits are only refundable under the conditions set-out here within.
Payments can be made online, by BACS digital bank transfer, or by cheque. Any charges raised against us by our banks for handling dishonoured cheque’s, bank transfers or any other payments, must be reimbursed by the lead guest within seven (7) days of any request to do so.
All guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of our neighbours and the owners of adjacent land and property at all times. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests are not honouring this agreement or causing a disturbance / nuisance to neighbours or land owners.
